People, it took me 4 years as a process server to finally join NAPPS. I have to say, DO NOT WAIT so long!
Then it took me 2 years to get to a NAPPS Convention. Again, I say, DO NOT WAIT so long!
And what a convention it was!!!
My fellow Texas Association of Professional Process Servers members: Kathy Burrow – President; Jessica Jester Saucedo – Vice President; Scott Thomas - Director; Members: Mark Burrow, Blu Daniels, Nancy Powell & Gean O Smith; and myself, Destinee F Serdinia – your Membership Director, were all in attendance. What a positive showing from our young organization and the Great State of Texas!
While Kathy and Mark Burrow made the scenic drive from Texas, Jessica, Blu and I decided to make our bucket list check-off to the world renown, San Diego Zoo. We all had a blast and even had a picture taken with Panda’s in our hands.
Getting down to business did not take long. All the representing state organizations were given an opportunity to introduce themselves. Kathy, Jessica, along with myself, must have made an impression! After we did our short presentation to the convention attendees, our organization gained 4 associate memberships!
Convention Training, Elections and Awards were all on the agenda but you couldn’t beat the Hawaiian Theme Luau on the Lawn. It was an unusually cool evening but luckily, we had light jackets from the plane ride over. Scott even got in his hula lesson.
Next year, NAPPS Convention 2019 – Orlando, Florida
Lets all plan on it!!!
Your membership director,
Destinee F. Serdinia
